Return to Yourself: A Personal Revolution

Deepen your practice, find consistency and see the benefits

January 23 - May 28, 2022

with Shoshana Hebshi

A note from Shoshana:

There have been times in my life when I have had a daily practice, and there have been other times when I have practiced once a week. I have gone months without a practice, but once I stepped back onto my mat, moved, breathed, slowed down, I remembered the powerful connection this practice brings to me.

I always feel better when I practice consistently. And this practice does not have to be an hour-long class, though I do love a long, thorough practice. I can connect and tune in with shorter practices, like 20 to 30 minutes, and that often feels more manageable in my very full schedule.

It is because of my deep understanding that the benefits of this practice grow exponentially with consistent practice, even when it's hard to show up, that I am offering a few ways to provide guidance, motivation and accountability for you to discover or re-discover a more consistent, if not daily, yoga practice.

And when I say yoga I don't mean asana (the physical practice), although it's really good to move your body every day. I mean the whole 8 limbs of yoga, including meditation, breathwork, and taking yoga philosophy into action in your daily life.

I invite you to join me in one or all of these upcoming offerings that make up the Return to Yourself: A Personal Revolution program starting Jan. 23.

Sunday Sangha: Jan. 23 at 3 p.m.

First up is a Sunday Sangha gathering at the studio to look into the concept of tapas, a yogic principle that asks us to dive into the fire of consistency. It's not. an easy task, as you probably have felt procrastination or laziness sometime in your life. We will move, breath, journal, chant and discuss why it might be difficult to commit to things, what are some of those barriers, and explore ways to overcome those barriers. This is the setup for an intention to begin a consistent practice. A la carte Registration $25. SIGN UP HERE

40-Day Sadhana: Jan. 24 - March 4

They say it takes 40 days to forge a new habit, and so we will experiment with that duration and set the stage for a regular practice. I will offer a recorded practice that you can do on your own time or join me on Zoom every morning at 6:30 for a 20- to 30-minute practice to wake up and start the day with awareness. If there is interest, we can meet at the studio once a week to practice in person. A la carte Registration Drop in $40. SIGN UP HERE

Spring Challenge: March 1 - 31

Sometimes we all need a little fire and goals to get more motivated. Revolution Yoga will be hosting a spring challenge the month of March to encourage us all to practice more, try out new classes and teachers and explore more variations in a practice. If you are mart of the 40-Day Sadhana, this challenge will start and take us through the end of the sadhana so you can finish with a bang. Free.

Living Your Yoga: March 6 - May 22

With commitment to a daily practice, you might find a yearning to deepen you knowledge and understanding about how to bring the practice from your mat into the world. Through these 12 weeks, we will explore the yamas and niyamas, yogic concepts of how we can interact with the outside world and with ourselves. We will meet weekly to go through each week's focus, have discussion and a practice. A la carte registration $289. SIGN UP HERE

Celebration: May 28 or 29 (TBD)

For those who have completed all of these offerings, it will be time to party. After undertaking such a deep commitment, we will practice, eat and socialize, celebrating all we have accomplished over the last five months. Free for those who complete the program.

You can sign up for these offerings a la carte or sign up for all of them as part of the Return to Yourself program, receiving a discounted price on all the events.
